Queensberry Estate

Queensberry Estate is located between the towns of Nawalapitiya in the Kandy District, and Talawakelle in the Nuwara Eliya District. It was originally established as a coffee plantation in the 1800s. After the demise of coffee in the 1860s, Queensberry was one of the first plantations in the region to switch to tea. It is located at an elevation of 1500 metres above sea level in close proximity to the Dimbula tea gardens.
